Hi, I’M Jennifer Blackwood.
I believe real change begins with presence — the moment we slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.
My path has woven through many disciplines, from earning a Master’s in Organization Development to a BA in Liberal Studies with a focus on Social Justice at Sonoma State’s Hutchins School. Along the way, I’ve gathered tools in Human Resources and Conflict Management, Critical Incident and Stress Management, Empowerment and Personal Safety Instruction, Physical Self-Defense, and even Pilates — because transformation, to me, is both an internal and embodied process.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations such as Francis Ford Coppola Vineyards, Aho & Associates Financial Forensic Accountants, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Second Octave Media, and Sonoma Unified School District, and many more - as well as facilitating workshops for clinical and leadership teams throughout Northern California.
At the heart of my work is a deep curiosity about what helps people feel safe, connected, and empowered — whether in the workplace or within themselves. I speak and teach on communication, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed care, team cohesion, teenage self-esteem, women’s empowerment, and personal safety.
